With the upcoming software release, Bluesound owners will be able to enjoy Spotify’s home audio experience with hassle-free music control and instant access to Spotify’s curated playlists, personalized radio, and catalogue of music in any room of the house. Spotify Connect can also be streamed to multiple Bluesound Players simultaneously in the home.
With the introduction of Spotify Connect to Bluesound, customers can enjoy over 20 million songs, streamed to Bluesound’s HiFi music players through a home network, either via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, with control on any iOS or Android device. Bluesound has reportedly developed custom hardware and software to ensure that the digital signal remains true to the artist’s original recording.
Bluesound director of technology and product planning Greg Stidsen says: “Spotify Connect is a perfect addition to Bluesound’s digital and streaming technologies. Our users will get the best of both worlds: true and reliable HiFi along with Spotify Connect’s effortless control of music across your phone, tablet, and the Bluesound ecosystem. Imagine entering your home listening to your favourite Spotify playlist on your phone and then seamlessly connecting to your Bluesound Player without missing a single beat of music. Bluesound’s family of dedicated, multi-room wireless streaming digital music players can do this. It gives users the ability to playback millions of songs from Spotify Connect to any room in the home or all rooms at once. That’s truly Living HiFi.”
