Haier has received the VDE Seal of Quality for its A2FE-735 series of Three Door (3D) combi fridge-freezers, reportedly making it the first manufacturer in its category to achieve this recognition.
The VDE Seal of Quality is awarded by the Testing and Certification Institute of the Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies for electrical appliances after thorough testing to the highest international quality standards.
Haier Europe CEO René Aubertin said: “We take great pride in the quality of our appliances. This significant seal gives official recognition to our rigorous quality control standards and positions Haier as a global benchmark in the industry for quality and excellence. Our aim is to develop products of unique design, which make life easier and whose quality brings long-term enjoyment to their owners.”
The 3D fridge-freezer boasts two pull-out freezer drawers and large capacity fridge door as well as No Frost technology. It also features a reversible front door and an external touch screen display integrated in the door. The appliance has an A++ energy efficiency class and a twelve year guarantee on its inverter-compressor, designed to reduce noise.
