IFA 2013: Vogel’s Product Showcase

In Product News On

During IFA 2013, Vogel’s, the designer and manufacturer of mounts and support systems for audio/video equipment, demonstrated some of its latest products to the stand’s visitors. Vogel’s Products’ Ingrid Rutjens took IER’s Mike Gammon round to take a look at what the company has to offer lately.

In the area of TV wall mounts, Vogel’s showed off a broad range of models, which are designed to accomodate virtually every TV brand and size of screen, ranging from 17” to 80”. With functionality being key, the TV can be mounted flat or tilted for comfortable viewing in the bedroom. The turnable mounts on offer also allows positioning flexibility, enabling people to view their flat screen TV from any spot in the room. There is also a range of award winning mounts for ultra thin TVs, which have only 3,5 cm / 1.4” of space between the TV and the wall.

New for IFA 2013, the company introduced several new turnable mounts for larger screens (40 to 65 inch/102 to 165 cm). Vogel’s WALL 2345 has a double support arm which can turn up to 180 degrees (WALL 2245 for 32 to 55 inch / 81-140 cm). Vogel’s WALL 2325 has a single support arm which can turn up to 120 degrees, depending on the size of the TV. (WALL 2225 for 32 to 55 inch / 81 – 140 cm).

There is also a full range of flat and tiltable models for most A/V equipment applications. The tiltable mounts are ideal for watching TV from a lower angle, such as in bed. Vogel’s THIN 315 can be tilted up and down and fits ultra thin screens or the WALL 1315.

With the THIN turnable TV wall mounts, the screen can be turned 180 degrees and pulled up to 63 cm away from the wall for even more flexibility (THIN 345, for 40 to 65 inch / 102 to 165 cm). Additionally there is the THIN 325, which can turn up to 120 degrees on a single pivot arm. Besides standard black, the THIN 345 and THIN 245 (for 32 to 55 inch / 81 – 140 cm) models are also available in alpine white. The high gloss finish is decorated with a silver or champagne coloured accent.

IER was also introduced to Vogel’s RingO® tablet mounting systems designed to make tablets even easier to use and reflects the advances that the company has already made in TV mount accessories. The RingO system comes with a protective tablet Holder and a mounting ring that can be attached to a Wall Mount, Flex Mount or Car Mount. RingO is designed to work with Apple’s Smart Cover, offering full protection for the iPad, its camera and controls. Compatibility wise, Vogel’s RingO supports the most popular brands of tablets, including iPad 2 (3rd and 4th generation) and Galaxy Tab 10.1 (1st and 2nd generation).

Vogel’s also showed their A/V add-ons to help hide cables and organise and enhance their entertainment equipment. Vogel’s already available CABLE 10 product features a sleek metallic column to organize and conceal up to 10 cables. It is available in lengths of 64 cm (CABLE 10 M) and 94 cm (CABLE 10 L). People can mount Vogel’s AV10 support(s) on the column to securely hold A/V equipment with plenty of room for peripherals.
