The Indesit Group has just unveiled its latest product propositions in its three leading brands: Indesit, Hotpoint and Cannon.
Indesit wish to communicate that there is more to the brand that entry level products, so three sub-brands have been introduced to persuade customers to retain brand loyalty while trading up as their budgets and requirements change. This has been rolled out across both freestanding and built-in collections. The three sub-brands are Start, Advance and Prime. As the consumer trades up, they receive larger capacities, digital displays, smart technology and a more sophisticated design. This represents excellent sales opportunities for the retailer, as demonstrated by the working kitchen displays at the recent Evolution event that showcased the complete Start, Advance and Prime designs.
Hotpoint was also raising the profile of its built-in brand. New to the collection is a 60cm induction hob with profiled edge and timer and boost functions on all zones. The highlight, however, was the new Openspace single oven with double oven proportions. With a generous 70 litre capacity, the A rated appliance offers 20% more cooking space than a traditional single oven thanks to its reduced control panel. It can also be split into two via an insulating divider, which enables users to cook at two different temperatures at the same time.
Cannon emphasised its long-standing heritage with a range of cookers that incorporate advanced automatic cooking modes and a variety of widths in different colour combinations and fuel types to appeal to the widest possible market.
