Toshiba’s third UK HD DVD player – the HD-EP10 – offers a similar technical spec to the maker’s first model, the HD-E1, but with the added bonus of a full HD 1080p output.
The player is also capable of upscaling standard DVDs to 720p, 1080i and 1080p, and offers support for the Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby True HD and DTS HD high-end audio formats.
As with Toshiba’s original model, the HD-EP10 is equipped with an Ethernet port, meaning that users will be able to access additional online feature content from HD DVDs.
