Manufacturer Beko enjoyed a successful Euronics Showcase at Birmingham’s NEC on April 26 and 27, the company has announced.
Beko plc independent channel manager Steve Naylor commented: “The Showcase this year was very successful; we had a large stand that paid homage to our new global Premium Partnership with FC Barcelona, as well as a display of our newest appliances for independent retailers. Our stand was a hive of activity thanks to our large screen displaying our latest television advert featuring FC Barcelona players. Visitors also had a chance to take part in a spot of football themselves, by scoring a ‘goal’ they won the chance to be entered into a large prize draw.”
He continued: “We recently celebrated our 25th anniversary with an event at Wembley Stadium, and the Euronics Showcase gave us another chance to speak to our retail partners and bring to life our work with FC Barcelona. Our marketing all serves to make it easier for retailers to sell our appliances, and the new partnership has certainly brought the Beko brand into the spotlight. The event was very successful and we look forward to another prosperous year ahead working with independent retailers.”
Independent exclusive brand Blomberg, part of the Beko family, was also presented with a special recognition award for its stand at the show, with Steve Naylor (pictured second right) accepting the award from CIH assistant marketing manager Mandy Gembarski (pictured left), CIH chief executive Stuart Cook (pictured second left) and CIH chairman Robin Millwood (pictured right).
