Following the success of its training roadshow throughout England, appliance brand Blomberg organised an additional leg of its tour taking the team to Scotland, the company has revealed.
Hosting five sessions in Inverurie, two in Larkhall, Kilmarnock, and Dumfries, 69 staff were trained taking the grand total of Euronics agents to benefit from Blomberg’s Roadshow in 2015 to 389.
Beko plc head of training Kay Ainsworth said: “We work with a number of key retailers in Scotland and it was absolutely essential to extend our initial six week programme to visit them too. Our Blomberg training sessions are designed to be both fun and informative. We don’t overload retailers with presentations, but instead bring the facts and figures to life through interactive demonstrations. We received excellent feedback from our Scottish retailers, and are always pleased to hear that the training had a positive impact and boosted sales.”
Frank Craig, of Frank B. Craig’s in Lanarkshire, whose team attended one of the sessions, added: “A mega thanks from all the guys at Frank B. Craig’s. We all thought the training was expertly done and entertaining, and we’re much wiser for the evening. I’m sure this will help us support the Blomberg brand. They know how to run a great night!”
