Premium kitchen appliance specialist Britannia Living has unveiled an online scrapbook – The Hotspot – which promises to provide an enhanced user experience for visitors to its website, the manufacturer says.
With the rise in ‘pinning’ and use of social sites like Pinterest, the company reveals that it wanted to give Britannia fans a dedicated online space to access the latest news, recipes, competitions and design trends from the culinary world.
Britannia Living marketing manager Michael Haigh commented: “After launching our new site almost a year ago, we felt it was the right time to introduce a new section that’s engaging and fun for all visitors. The Hotspot concept fits well with the brand and lends itself to the ‘gourmet-at-home’ cooking trend we are seeing more and more of.”
The website, which was launched in June 2014, was shortlisted for the Tasty Website category at last year’s Big Chip Award.
Michael added: “The Hotspot will also act as an extension to support our growing social media presence, so all visitors will benefit from seeing the very latest social competitions and blogs. After many months of development we are delighted that The Hotspot is now live for everyone to enjoy.”
