CIH, the UK’s top buying group and part of Euronics, Europe’s largest electrical buying organisation, has appointed the industry’s leading independent sales team Big Red Sales to help increase its Euronics profile in the marketplace.

The partnership will start on September 1.

Big Red’s 11-strong national sales team will visit CIH members throughout the UK enthusing them to adopt the new Euronics branding and other services.

Big Red Sales will also help promote Smartcare and Hitachi Finance products to CIH members.

Announcing the news CIH’s Chief Executive Stuart Cook said:

“We are delighted to announce the appointment of the Big Red Sales team force – with its proven sales performance in the field – to help us increase both our new brand awareness and our membership. We are confident that they will be able to reach out to our membership base to expound the many benefits of fully adopting the Euronics brand right through from our new shop fascias to local advertising, customer service, experienced retail product knowledge and installation services.”

Big Red Director James Attfield was equally enthusiastic about the new arrangement.

“We are thrilled to be appointed by CIH to help promote the Euronics brand in the marketplace. And especially during this difficult period for retailers emerging from the barren months of Lockdown. We feel we have a particularly unique position in the industry to help promote the services offered by Euronics retail members to the consumer.  And we look forward very much to working with Stuart Cook and his team for the continued success of independent retailers in what continues to be a highly challenging marketplace.”

And he added: “Our sales team are currently contacting CIH members by telephone during the current Lockdown period due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We took this decision because we felt that retailers would have more time than usual to listen to and absorb the good news story about Euronics and all it has to offer them.  So that once the country is back to normal, they can get up and running with everything as quickly as possible.”
