Forbes Rentals has announced their recent acquisition of the television and appliance rental accounts from Stuart Darling Ltd. The accounts will be readily absorbed into their existing business and will benefit from a highly responsive service support.
Forbes Rentals have known the directors of Stuart Darling for over 25 years and they are both long established family companies with a strong customer service ethos. Stuart Darling’s customers will have the consistency of remaining with an independent business. They will also benefit from Forbes’ 93 years of industry experience. The acquired customer base was centered around the Milton Keynes and Bedford area and will continue to receive a first class service from Forbes Rentals’ expansive network of field engineers. Forbes’ existing product range includes the same products as the purchased AV and appliance rental equipment and, as such, all the requisite engineering knowledge, spare parts and replacement machines will be readily available.
Forbes Rentals has a nationwide infrastructure and a large fleet of service engineers. All service and account management is handled centrally from their head office for a highly efficient and streamlined process. Established in 1926, the company has undergone significant expansion and products now range from AV to laundry and kitchen appliances, iPads, home surveillance and mobility scooters. Acquisitions such as these are intrinsic to their business strategy and the synergy between the two companies makes this a very straightforward investment. Stephen Edwards, Finance Director at Forbes and their key contact for companies throughout the acquisition process, says ‘We are thrilled to have purchased the rental accounts from Stuart Darling. This is the 55th company from which we have acquired contracts so we are well placed to carry out a seamless transfer. We look forward to continuing to deliver all of their customers with a consistently high standard of customer service.’
