Haier Europe this week held its 1 Vision conference at the Manchester Central Convention Complex.
The event was also live streamed for people who were unable to attend in the UK and overseas. The theme for the conference was ‘the power of three’ One dream, one goal, one vision.
The company invited trade partners, media and Haier colleagues, who heard speeches from Haier’s senior leadership team, including Yannick Fierling, Jean Pascal Rey, Gianpiero Morbello, David Meyerowitz, Jim McEwan and a host of other speakers across the business, who shared the exciting plans for growth in each of the market segments.
Haier Europe’s aim is to be the sustainable number one appliance manufacturer in the UK and Ireland in 2023 and to enter into the top three home appliance companies in Europe by 2026.
After lunch, delegates were treated to a live cookery demonstration by the newly appointed brand ambassador for Haier, restauranteur and celebrity chef, Nisha Katona.
The conference was followed with a gala awards dinner for colleagues, co-hosted by Matthew Given and Hoover brand ambassador and celebrity chef, Simon Rimmer.
During the evening staff across the organisation were recognised for their long service, dedication, and outstanding contribution to the business.
