Sunny Lee appointed as European president of Samsung
Sunny Lee, formerly VP of global visual display sales and marketing at Samsung Electronics, has been appointed as President and CEO of the company in Europe. The news coincides with the beginning of the Samsung European Forum 2014 in Spain, which runs until the 7th February. Having previously served as the President of Samsung Electronics in Germany between 2009 and 2012, Lee has experience of the European market and stated that the South Korean company’s aim is “to drive brand leadership by enhancing our customers’ work and home lives with superb products and exciting media content. We also have a commitment to support the communities here in Europe by creating new jobs, skills and investment.”
