New TRIC President

In Industry News On

Mary Nightingale has been unveiled as the new President of the Television and Radio Industries Club. The ITV newsreader and television presenter received her badge of office from outgoing President impressionist Jon Culshaw at a luncheon at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London, on July 4th 2013.

The club also has a new Chairman. Derek Hollingdale, Sales Director of Domestic & General Insurance, has taken over from Nick Gregory, (Business Development Director, British Sky Broadcasting).

Departing Chairman, Nick Gregory, said in his report for the year: “At a time when other similar organisations are seeing a significant decline in support and membership I am pleased to say that TRIC as an organisation continues to go from strength to strength.

“While it is important to enjoy ourselves through TRIC it is very important that we continue to help and support those who are less fortunate than ourselves. Support of our charities is very dear to our hearts.”

Money raised at TRIC events in the past year has been donated to four charities – Marie Curie Cancer Care, Trekstock, SOS Children UK and Salvation Army.
