Independent electrical retailers are being encouraged to attend EI Live! 2022, the leading event for the residential AV and home automation industry.
EI Live! is taking place at Farnborough International Exhibition Centre on September 14-15.
Show director David Kitchener said that the show, which is this year sponsored by aico, is back bigger and better than ever, with extra floor space, more exhibitors, and more attractions.
Mr Kitchener said: “The AV and home automation industry is growing like there’s no tomorrow; CEDIA estimates that in the UK, this is a £1 billion industry.
“For independent electrical retailers, this sector offers another revenue stream; if you’re not in the AV and home automation industry, come to EI Live! and this could well launch you into the industry, because you’ll be able to meet people and get advice.
“Visit EI Live! and you’ll see all the latest updates and the new products that are being launched at the show.”
Mr Kitchener said that one exhibitor, Snap One, is running dealer training at EI Live!
“This will take the form of technical training and sales training,” Mr Kitchener said. “The technical training session will look at best practices for delivering a successful installation,
while the sales training will explore Snap One’s strategic categories.”
Mr Kitchener highlighted that parking is free at the Farnborough International Exhibition Centre and entry to the show is free too.
“The Technical Theatre will be back this year, offering a varied programme of training and learning opportunities drawn direct from the industry and interesting related fields,” he added.
“A trip to EI Live!, the only dedicated AV and home automation exhibition in the UK, could pay dividends for independent electrical retailer, as they have the opportunity to learn all they need to know.
“Apart from seeing, hearing, and feeling all of the various products, all AV distributors and manufacturers offer full training – often free of charge.”
