Radio manufacturer Roberts has announced new appointments and changes within the company’s sales team. These roles have been created so individuals are now responsible for specific retail channels to upscale efficiency, Roberts explains.
Gordon Reid has spent the past six years as a key member of the national accounts team for Roberts. Gordon’s experience in the independent sector will be leveraged as he becomes fully dedicated to the independent channel.
Chris Evans returns to the UK business and will be responsible for the electrical specialist channel. Chris’ focus for the last two years has been to develop the international business.
Roberts has also announced two new faces, with Cari Bibb joining following roles at Canon, Samsung and Epson. Cari will be running the mass merchandise channel.
Finally, Laura Davenhall will be managing the mail order channel. Laura joins the team from G2S.
Roberts chief executive Owen Watters commented: “With a larger sales team now firmly in place, we can offer all our various retail channels a more proficient and personal service ensuring clear lines of communication. We are lucky to have a talented team that offer a wealth of knowledge in consumer electronics that is a huge asset to our business.”
