Whirlpool UK has announced a new brand ambassador and partnership with celebrity chef, restauranteur and food writer Adam Byatt. Adam will support the brand through a number of initiatives including press events, recipe development, cooking demonstrations and masterclasses, using the latest Whirlpool appliances.
Adam (pictured) has an established career, starting out at 16 as an apprentice chef at Claridge’s. Today, his two restaurants, Trinity and Bistro Union in Clapham, are a tremendous success with numerous accolades including three AA rosettes and the AA’s coveted London Restaurant of the Year, Whirlpool says. He is a regular guest on BBC 1’s Saturday Kitchen, and has made appearances on Celebrity Masterchef and Channel 4’s Drop Down Menu.
Adam commented: “This is a truly exciting opportunity working with the world’s number one appliance manufacturer. We have some great things planned and my passion for wholesome and the finest ingredients combined with cooking with Whirlpool will be an exciting experience. We have some tremendous ideas between us making the most of my talent and the innovations of Whirlpool.”
Whirlpool UK trade marketing manager Neil Austin added: “Adam is a remarkable find and he will be a great ambassador for the brand. As a talented and renowned chef, his modern, innovative approach to food, as well as making it fun at the same time, are credentials that complement the Whirlpool brand so well. We are extremely excited about the partnership and look forward to delighting our customers to the full.”
