To spearhead with the many attributes available to independent retailers, with the ever increasing availability of innovative technologies, training and strategies available to them, IER was renamed in 2014 as;
INNOVATIVE ELECTRICAL RETAILING

For many decades, pre 2014, IER was titled, ‘Independent Electrical Retailer’, emphasising the support for the independent retailer in opposition to the multi nationals. IER vigorously continues as the main source of news & views for the innovative, independent electrical retailers.

Just for info, IFA [Internationale Funkausstellung], the largest Consumer Electronics Show held annually in Berlin, is this year celebrating its 100th birthday. The Show has now changed its brand to, Innovation For All.
