Bertazzoni: Leaders of luxury appliances since 1882
From humble beginnings in a small province in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region more than 140 years ago, to a global reputation as one of the leading brands in premium appliances Bertazzoni’s journey has, and continues to, go from strength to strength.
So, what exactly is it that makes them just so special…
Leading the way
With its 140-year history, Bertazzoni seamlessly combines its heritage with today’s cuttingedge technology to deliver some of the market’s most innovative kitchen appliances. Most recently it demonstrated its design, engineering and technological capabilities at the prestigious Salone del Mobile, revealing a selection of mirrored and chromatic built-in ovens, achieved through new production processes, alongside new induction, refrigeration and cooling technology.
Automotive application
The selection of aesthetics available on Bertazzoni products are unique in themselves, with range cookers available in a range of highgloss finishes. But what further sets the brand apart is that the colours feature the flawless paintwork found on Italian luxury sports cars which originate from the same region as Bertazzoni. The brand further evidenced its capabilities at EuroCucina 2024, with a selection of models featuring technology from the aerospace and architectural industries.
Family foundations ADD TRADITION
Bertazzoni’s heritage is at the heart of its success. Now led by fifth- and sixth-generation family members, it’s never forgotten its roots and is firmly driven by the mutual understanding that the kitchen is at the epicentre of family life and generational traditions. From day one, its appliances have been designed to bring delicious homecooked food to the table, for families to enjoy together. For Bertazzoni, that is what it is all about.
Signature styling
Over the years Bertazzoni has crafted four distinctive Series; Professional, Modern, Master and Heritage, each with instantly recognisable design elements that cater to all styles of kitchens, both aesthetically and practically. Alongside automotive paint, its inimitable finishes include texture paint, metals and enamel. Each Series has been designed to create a complete and perfectly coordinated suite, delivering consistency across the kitchen.
Precision engineering
Bertazzoni’s product portfolio has evolved to include all kitchen appliances – each as meticulously designed and crafted as its cooking counterparts. It’s cooling offer in particular is something to be in awe of with its cooling columns presenting a true engineering feat, as does its multi-award-winning Air-Tec range cooker which uniquely combines oven, hob and hood in one stunning unit.
Global presence
Today, Bertazzoni has approximately 250 employees and produces around 200,000 units per year at its headquarters in Guastalla. From there, the mostly hand-crafted appliances are exported to more than 60 countries.
Maurizio Severgnini, managing director of Bertazzoni UK and Eire, said: “We are incredibly proud of the Bertazzoni journey. The evolution of our offering is testament to the many people who have been involved in the brand since it began in 1882.
“Over the years, every generation of the Bertazzoni family, as well as its employees, has continued to live and breathe the company’s core values of family, food and engineering, making the company what it is today.
“We are proud to produce high quality, beautiful appliances with precision and care and that our products help bring family and friends together, every day.”
