Home appliance brand Baumatic, part of the Hoover Candy Group, has appointed Leaker Direct as exclusive distributor of the brand in Scotland, the company has announced.
The agreement, which started in February 2015, covers all of Baumatic’s appliance ranges including the Premium Line Collection, which is only available to kitchen studios.
Founded in 2000, Leaker Direct (Distribution) Ltd., part of the Leaker Direct Group, specialises in distribution to the kitchen specialist sector, working with market-leading appliances, sinks and taps brands, Baumatic says. It adds that with a 55,000 sq.ft warehouse at Motherwell in Lanarkshire, the company runs its own fleet of vehicles, and offers a next day service from a logistics partner.
Baumatic marketing director Owain Harrison commented: “We’re very pleased to be working with Leaker Direct as it has such an incredible foothold in the Scottish specialist kitchens market. We greatly look forward to working with the Group and increasing our distribution in Scotland.”
