Blomberg has unveiled its GreenPlus initiative, highlighting the best energy efficient appliances within its range.All of the GreenPlus range from Blomberg’s washing machines are designed with minimum use of energy, water and detergent in mind and have achieved an A++ rating, making them up to 20% more energy efficient than an A rated model. They also boast an automatic water adjustment system, which adjusts and minimises water intake levels based on the amount of laundry.
The GreenPlus heat pump tumble dryer includes a closed loop heat exchange system and because of this the air temperature inside the drum is lower compared to conventional dryers – reportedly designed to help look after garments. This model has also achieved an energy efficiency rating of A++.
Blomberg has also developed a double multi-function oven with an A-rating which offers energy focused construction, smart insulation and electronic control to utilize the residual heat of the oven. Heat loss through the oven glass is minimized with a combined system of cooling air stream optimization and low glass door temperature construction.
