Visitors to the recently held, very busy, EURONICS Showcase, noticed the empty space of stand 20 and absence of the sscheduled exhibitor, BSH.

With the space usefully taken up to take the overflow from the refreshment area, as you can imagine, the ‘jungle drums’ were sounding throughout the show.

Now, officially, BSH has confirmed it will end its long-term commercial relationship with Combined Independents Holdings (CIH) at the end of April.

BSH spokesperson said the decision follows “many successful years working together,” with both parties agreeing to discontinue their engagement from 28 April 2026.

Despite the change, BSH said it is still committed to the independent electrical retail sector, stating it will maintain support for retailers and consumers alike.

“BSH remains committed to supporting the independent electrical retailer and providing consumers with high-quality products,” the spokesperson said. “We will, of course, continue to honour all consumer warranty and service obligations in respect of products already supplied via CIH.”

At the time of posting this news, no further details have been given regarding the future direction of either party following the split.
