27th July ,2023 – Haier Europe, part of Haier Smart Home, the No. 1 global company in the sector of major appliances, gets ready to play a leading role once more at IFA 2023, the event dedicated to the best of consumer electronics and home appliances, being held in Berlin from the 1st to 5th of September. An introductory press conference will be held on Thursday 31st August at 2pm in pavilion 3.1 on the Haier Europe stand with a presentation by Yannick Fierling, CEO Haier Europe.
Connect to Extraordinary comes to life in an approximately 3400 m2 of exhibition area. It is back with a new universe of connectivity and interconnection at the service of the consumers’ needs and their everyday life. The solutions and the services of the three most strategical pan-European brands, Candy, Hoover, and Haier, play a starring role in the event and, thanks to innovative technologies and AI, they become living ecosystems and interact with visitors. The purpose is to show how technology at the service of people can have a significant impact on the improvement of everyday life and on the environment.
The activities carried out under Smart Energy Management also pursue this aim. Already a pioneer in the IoT world, Haier Europe will display the new projects dedicated to the creation of home environments where connected ecosystems develop a platform of integrated and all-encompassing services, while becoming the main tool to streamline energy efficiency at home. At IFA, visitors will see the actual connections among the smart functions of the solutions provided by Haier Europe, energy suppliers and the systems connected, which include PV, solar systems, air conditioning, and appliances. It is a comprehensive system for the full management of a connected home, under the control of the hOn app.
The platform, in fact, is being continuously updated and allows for the management of all the three brand appliances. The latest release provides an app open to everybody, including those who do not have a smart product at home, and it is a major evolution as for flexibility, design, and user-friendliness. The renewed interface has a customisable home page where users can add the preferred smart widgets: easy-to-consult digital thematic directories. Connecting an appliance to the app means ensuring an extremely versatile tool, that in the hands of every user, offers a lot of customisation options combined with many additional functions to simplify any daily routine.
The Haier Europe’s Immersive Dome, a captivating area, where storytelling comes to life through visual, sound, and light interactions, will also play a key role. Visitors will be able to enjoy an experiential journey, becoming completely immersed into the company’s vision, and explore the whole of Haier Europe’s ecosystem, which has been built on the concepts of interconnectivity, efficiency, customization, and smart services.
Candy, Hoover and Haier solutions, products and innovations are unveiled in three different macro-areas which host different connected scenarios, which put consumers at the heart of everything. It is an exciting pathway that starts from technology to reach energy efficiency, going through the streamlining of resources and time.

Haier: Design and technology that inspire
At IFA, Haier – the world’s No. 1 brand of the sector of large appliances* – will unveil new connected ecosystems characterised by technologies, premium design, customisation possibilities and a new versatility vision. The space dedicated to the brand includes four different areas which allow consumers to stay in contact with the whole Haier world and explore endless potential by simply connecting to the hOn app.
In the area dedicated to washing, the visitor will see the boundaries of sustainability and professional wash results transformed, thanks to the new X SERIES 11 and its solutions that achieve class A-40%. Washing machines and dryers from this series provide an innovative Air Treatment which allows you to keep your garments looking as good as new after every wash. Furthermore, the best energy efficiency is delivered by the I-PRO SERIES 7 PLUS, which is A-30%.
In the second area, the key word is versatility. The brand, in fact, presents new products that can meet any request and need, and satisfy any consumer’s desire. The multi-door CUBE 90 SERIES 9 fridge dominates the scene, like a real control tower for the connected home: in cooperation with the hOn app in fact, it can interact with all the connected appliances.
The unique design of the brand can be seen in two different areas. In an exclusive space dedicated to cooking, the new ID SERIES is unveiled, featuring connected ovens and hobs which are characterised by a unique style and exclusive bionicook technology, at the service of any consumer’s tastes and habits, always at the core of new connected functions. The HAIER CASARTE SERIES capsule collection plays a lead role in the exhibition space that combines art, technology, and artificial intelligence. It is a series of home solutions home solutions for today which set the luxury standards for tomorrow.
Candy: efficiency is a matter of style
Candy arrives in Berlin with the intention to surprise. And it does it with a space that announces a new accessible efficiency, new design lines, and a renewed style that represents the prelude of more innovations to be unveiled over the next few months.
In the Smart & Efficient Home, the company displays the brand’s best-in-class products, which thanks to connectivity and the hOn app, achieve the utmost levels of energy efficiency which results in actual savngs and a reduction in waste. Fresco, the smart class-A fridge, Rapidò, the quickest and most spacious class-A dishwasher on the market, and the Rapidò Pro class-A 20%, washing machine are only some of the examples of the brands products that will activate in a captivating way to reveal all their characteristics.
At IFA, the brand-new series of connected ovens is, designed for a creative and smart cooking experience that will be in the spotlight of the cooking shows bringing to life the Candy area.
Also on display will be the solutions that perfectly follow the Candy style to make life easier, with brilliant ideas, no matter how big the area. They include slim and smart products, such as Rapidò dishwashers which enrich the range with a solution that is only 45 cm wide and supports an 8 place setting solution, and the new, mini space-saving and front-loading washing machine.
Hoover: performance and energy efficiency
Let us welcome the Revolutionary Hoover Home that provides a new style and shapes the characteristics which make this brand unique: performance, reliability, efficiency, style, and consumer care.
This is really a revolutionary year for Hoover: it presents the new HFX cordless upright vacuum with the exclusive technology CORNERGENIETM. In just one simple step, it transforms itself and allows you to reach new levels of cleaning in every corner of the home.
The area also hosts a fascinating installation of the washing machine drum of the H-WASH 700 class A-30%: the biggest drum in the market in standard size. The laundry results are clear to see with cleaning being improved by 20% and 17% fewer creases at the end of the cycle, even with a full load, thanks to the extra-size drum.
At IFA, with its constant attention to the aspects of wellbeing and the aim of achieving the best standards of hygiene, Hoover exhibits dishwashers with functions that ensure the widest internal space that benefits from a special antibacterial treatment. Thanks to the exclusive Dry Boost Fan, the H-DISH 700 PRO top of the range model ensures a flawless drying experience.
In the area dedicated to the brand, we can also find the Premium Collection 5, the new range of ovens and induction hobs with a refreshed stylish design, including advanced connected functions, which can be activated through the hOn app and discovered via a dedicated QR code.
