Cookology has been ranked among the fastest-growing businesses in the Midlands & East of England in the 2026 UK Fast Growth Index.
The UK Fast Growth Index, run by Ideas Community in partnership with UBS, ranks the UK’s fastest-growing independent businesses by percentage growth in turnover. In 2026, the Index includes the top 50 firms in each nation and region, and after growing its turnover by 109% in two years, Cookology came out on top in its category.
Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, Founder of the UK Fast Growth Index, said: “Cookology is a great example of the extraordinary talent and ambition we see in businesses across every part of the UK. Earning a place on this year’s Index, alongside firms that have together more than doubled in size in just two years, is a remarkable achievement, and the whole team should be very proud.
“At a time when we hear so much about the challenges facing the UK economy, businesses like The Wright Buy (Cookology) show what is possible when they are given the chance to grow. The challenge now is to help more of them become those incredible high-growth businesses that make a massive impact across the country.”
Cookology, a manufacturer of British designed kitchen appliances, was founded by Andrew Wright, who spoke about the rapid growth of the brand over the past few years…
“I first established the business in 2009 from my kitchen table with just £2,000. In 2014, we launched Cookology as our first house brand, and today it is delivering both top-line growth and bottom-line gain throughout the business.
“For Cookology to be recognised among the fastest-growing businesses in the Midlands & East of England is a fantastic achievement, further confirming how our product roadmap and broader company goals are anchoring our presence in the market.”
The company shows no signs of slowing down; today is has more than 175,000 units at any given time ready to ship throughout the UK – whether it’s a brand-new induction hob, a stylish fan oven, or a large capacity refrigerator.
“Cookology is the UK’s answer to stylish, value-driven products that serve real needs,” added Mr Wright.
