Hisense UK has announced the appointment of Nathan Newlove as Refrigeration Category Manager as the manufacturer continues to build on more than a decade of growth in the UK refrigeration market.

Mr Newlove joins Hisense UK from Midea, where he was Product Manager across several appliance categories, including Cooling. Prior to this, he spent more than four years at Haier Europe, progressing from Product Analyst for Cooling to Junior Product Manager, with responsibility across Cooling, Freestanding Washer Dryers and Dishwashers.

Throughout his career, Mr Newlove has worked closely with leading international consumer appliance brands, developing strong category knowledge, product expertise and insight into evolving market trends.

In his new role, he will lead the Refrigeration category at Hisense UK, responsible for managing product launches, driving category performance and ensuring alignment across sales, marketing and product teams to deliver commercial objectives.

Working alongside Alison Ladkin, Head of MDA Go-to-Market, Mr Newlove will bring additional category expertise and dedicated focus to support the continued growth and innovation of the Refrigeration category.

Ms Ladkin commented: “Nathan’s appointment reflects our ongoing investment in the category and marks an important milestone in our growth journey. His extensive industry experience and knowledge of the refrigeration market will be instrumental as we build on this success, and we are delighted to welcome him to the business.”

Mr Newlove added: “I’m delighted to be joining Hisense at such an exciting time for the business. I’m looking forward to working alongside Alison and the wider team to build on that success, bringing new products to the market and continuing to strengthen our position within the category and among consumers.”

Over the last decade, Hisense has transformed its Refrigeration category from a relatively small market presence and has today built a strong reputation for innovation, introducing products that have helped shape the market. These include the new KitchenFit range, designed to integrate seamlessly into modern kitchens while maximising storage capacity and performance, and the recently launched PureView series of next-generation smart refrigerators.
