Filled with fully supportive suppliers and manufacturers in the Marshall Arena at the MK Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes, the Sirius Buying Group hosted its annual trade show on 15/16 September coupled with a Gala Dinner within the Doubletree by Hilton hotel, overlooking the pitch. The dinner was also a platform to present Awards to deserving Suppliers and Members.

From vast ranges of MDA to SDA, from Software Solutions to Furniture Selections for the Kitchen, from Spares to Recycling, from Insurance to Financial Services, from Shop Fitting to Commercial MDA, the Trae Show was an array of choice with Sirius offering Turnkey solutions and opportunities for its members.

After a busy first day, members and suppliers prepared to occupy around 25+ Tables at the Gala Dinner.

Stepping on stage, Steve Jones, Managing Director, welcomed everyone and announced the evenings proceedings with its usual auction in aid of a charity chosen by its members.

This year it is the Alzheimer’s Association. Such is only possible with the amazing generosity of supplier/manufacturer donations.

With monies also raised from the audience donations to participate in ‘heads & tails’, the whole evening’s total came to an amazing £8,000.

The highlight was of course the Awards, presented by various members of the Sirius team, including Mark Veysey and Phil Cox.

As agreed by one and all, receiving Awards is not only fabulous personally, such recognition when exposed to the consumer makes a difference with business or product credibility, in turn, resulting in extra business opportunities.
